Had on-tap at Burning Barrel in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a tulip pint, hazy and strong orange in color with a mostly barren surface and a thin, broken ring around the edge of the glass.
Smell - Juicy orange, pineapple and mango with a hint of peach.
Taste - Follows the nose. Nice juicy, tropical profile with orange and peach upfront before notes of mango and some pineapple acidity develops. Finish is mostly orange and pineapple, and it lingers long in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with nice, bitey carbonation. Slick, smooth drinker before a crisp, mostly dry finish.
Overall - My first Burning Barrel brew and it delivers a great first impression. I have a feeling this is gonna be the next new Sac area brewery to explode.
