Nitro golden color milk stout.
The taste threw me off the first time I had it because it’s so different. A taste in beer that I had never tasted before. I liked the beer more the second time. I like the the first half of the beer more because of the head that the nitro creates.

From tasting notes 07/26/18
Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a tulip pint, hazed and burnt golden in color with a thin, broken layer of suds on the surface, building into a thick ring around the edge of the glass. Solid lacing, with horizontal lines stretching across the upper half of the glass and spotting found beneath and elsewhere.
Smell - Vanilla and chocolatey aroma, with a hint of honey-like sweetness.
Taste - Follows the nose. Vanilla and chocolate with a hint of honey graham cracker(?) sweetness. Not picking up any real distinguishable coffee notes. Finishes mildly sweet with the aforementioned flavors.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with light, tingly effervescence. Creamy and smooth drinker with an easy finish. 4
Overall - I'm not a fan of milk stouts nor stouts on nitro, so the fact that I didn't immediately dismiss this from drinking it again speaks volumes about its balance and quaffable qualities.
