Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a tulip pint, opaque and faded orange with a mostly barren surface and a thin ring of suds around the edge. A few vertical lines make up the lace.
SmellĀ - Nice aromatics; orange, pineapple, pine and guava make a lasting Impression.
Taste - Falls off from the nose, unfortunately. Big time. Citrus and tropical notes are there, but almost watered down. Touch of pineapple bite in the finish.
Mouthfeel - Light in body with lightly bitey carbonation. Slick drinker with a slightly watery finish.
Overall - Pretty disappointing after such a promising aroma. Not a bad beer overall, but in terms of Hazy IPAs, it's near the bottom of the pack.
