Had on-tap at Burning Barrel in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served in a 16oz tulip, hazy and golden yellow in appearance with a thin, broken layer of suds stretched across the surface and a thin ring encircling the edge of the glass. Nice lacing with broken webbing, lines and small spotting.
Smell - Lightly dank aroma with hints of grapefruit, mango and a hint of apricot.
Taste - Follows the nose. Fruity and equally dank. Tangerine, and apricot and a nice touch of tang combat the dank pine character. Finish turns slightly pithy with light grapefruit bitterness, and it lingers in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Medium-to-full in body with a fair amount of tingly carbonation. Slick upfront before a dry, slightly sticky finish.
Overall - Good brew but more WC DIPA than hazy juice bomb. Not very juicy.
