Poured from a crowler canned 9/14/18
Appearance - Pours opaque and violet-pink in color with a pinkish, half-finger width head.
Smell - Distinct earthy, lightly sweet blueberry character. Hint of vanilla sweetness. Not much else.
Taste - Follows the nose. Prominent notes of Earthy sweet and distantly tart blueberry character. Faint vanilla in there. Mild wheaty undertone. The finish doesn't stray too far from the start; mostly a mellow blueberry sweet, tart but prominent earthy, lightly wheaty flavor.
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with light carbonation. Fair, light creaminess with an easy, slightly dry finish.
Overall - Good cream ale. More interesting than most cream ales, but honestly most suck and this one at least presents some blueberry character that adds some nice fruitiness.
