Appearance - Pours opaque and berry pink/purple in color with a thin layer of suds atop, fading away in fair time to reveal a mostly barren surface. No lacing, but none expected.
Smell - Berry and cherry tartness on the nose. Lightly toasted, bread like sweetness. Not picking up the blood orange.
Taste - Follows the nose. Cherry tartness mostly, with lesser blackberry. Light, toasted bready malt undertone. Maybe I'm picking up a hint of the blood orange on the tail end?
Mouthfeel - Light-bodied with fair, tingly carbonation. Slick, easy drinker with a crisp, dry finish.
Overall - Really good sour, despite the lack of blood orange making a noticeable difference in the flavor. The cherry and berry notes carry this one nicely.
