Had on tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a 12oz snifter, hazy and pinkish in color with a thin, broken layer of suds and a fair ring encircling the edge of the glass. Good lacing, with broken sheeting, lines and spotting.
Smell - Fruity aroma; apricot is prominent, with lesser peach and a hint of berry. Light cream.
Taste - Follows the nose. Apricot upfront and throughout, with lesser peach. Some blackberry tartness sneaks in mid-taste then strengthens as it reaches the finish. Faint trace of vanilla; gets buried by the fruit.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with low, tingly carbonation. Nice creamy texture all the way to the finish. Damn smooth. 8% doesn't register.
Overall - Good milkshake with some potential, but it needs more vanilla, IMO. Super fruity, almost to a fault.
