Had on tap at Burning Barrel in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a tulip pint, hazy and mellow orange in color with a thin, broken layer of suds on the surface. Fair lacing, with small patches and spotting.
Smell - Citrusy and dank. About it.
Taste - Follows the nose. Citrus, fair pine and a bit of floral character. Crackery malt undertone. Finish is citrusy and light earthen dankness.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair carbonation. Slick, easy drinker before a crisp and mostly dry finish.
Overall - Its okay. More of an unfiltered WCIPA than anything. Doesn't really fit the juicy NE-style hazy mold. Too dank for my tastes regardless.
