Appearance - Pours murky and violet in color with a pink, half-finger width head. Fair retention before dying down to a mostly barren surface with a thin ring around the edge of the glass. A few small spots make up the lacing.
Smell - Sour with sweet, raspberry fruitiness. Lesser vanilla sitting beneath.
Taste - Sour raspberry goodness with that hint of vanilla sweetness. Not much outside that, but it's a nice combo.
Mouthfeel - Light-bodied with fair carbonation. Goes down easy before a mostly dry finish.
Overall - Solid sour. The raspberry, vanilla and tartness play off each other nicely.

Canned 4/24/19. Special collaboration celebrating Sacramento Beer Week. Had on tap a couple weeks back and loved it. Needless to say, I am eager to dive in from the can. Let's see how she fares.
L: Pours a hazy/murky raspberry pinkish red in color with some hues of purple. A standard pour yielded a finger of a bubbly off-white cap that dissipated rapidly. Very mild residual lacing, but dat color has me yearning for a sip.
S: The smell is superb. Fresh, ripe and natural raspberry, and in great abundance. It is jammy and not artificial and lacking the cloying sweetness. It smells great, with a hint of tartness. The raspberry dominates, and in fact, is the only thing I smell. If you blended a truck load of fresh raspberries and smelled it, that's what I am dealing with here. Great.
T: Annnd it's just as good as I remember. First up is the abundance of natural raspberry, consisting of a perfect balance of sweetness with tartness. The vanilla claims its stake at the finish and transcends into the after taste, giving me berry n' creme vibes. It is sweet, tart, fruity and delicious. I don't get the cakey/bready cupcake flavor, but I'm not whining.
F: Awesome. Smooth, full, creamy, and perfectly carbonated. Can't say much else, other than it's great.
O: I dunno, this is great. It is exactly as advertised- raspberry and vanilla. I would drink again, and I am very glad to try. Plus, le wife approves. Cheers!
