This Cobbler-Inspired Imperial Sour was treated with a plethora of Sweet Cherries and Blueberries that perfectly compliment the velvety mouthfeel provided from the Mexican Vanilla Beans. A touch of cinnamon rounds out the cobbler flavors that linger through the finish.

Had on tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up 13oz into a snifter, hazy and violet in color with a mostly barren surface and a razor thin ring of suds around the edge of the glass. Fair lacing with a few broken lines and some small spotting.
Smell - Fair cherry fruitiness, with 'crust like aroma' of the vanilla and cinnamon.
Taste - Cherry flavor upfront that might be more sweet than tart. Vanilla and cinnamon pop up mid-taste. Finishes with cherry mostly, along with fading cinnamon and vanilla. Not picking up any blueberry.
Mouthfeel - Light to medium in body with fair carbonation. Slick, easy drinker that falls a bit flat in the finish.
Overall - Pretty good, but its not up to the standard set by the first two beers in the series, both of which were exceptional. The tartness just doesn't really deliver here.
