Had on tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up 12oz into a snifter, very slight haze and golden orange in color. Mostly barren surface with a razor thin ring of suds around the edge of the glass. A few broken lines and small spotting make up the lace.
Smell - Citrus heavy with a bit of dank, stonefruit and lightly toasted malt.
Taste - Follows the nose. Orange and grapefruit, peach, light hints of pine and mango. Slightly toasty malt and caramel undertone. Finishes with a bitbof pith and alcohol astringency.
Mouthfeel - Full-bodiex with moderate carbonation. Smooth drinker before a dry, warming finish.
Overall - Really good TIPA. They describe it as a Cloudy TIPA, but there's not much haze and it drinks straight up like a classic WC TIPA, so I'm a bit confused by the style descriptor here. Great beer regardless.
