Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a tall tulip style glass, hazy and orange in color with a mostly barren surface and a thin ring of sudd around the edge of the glass. Fair lacing with some broken webbing and small spotting.
Smell - Fair aroma that mostly hits on pineapple and orange.
Taste - Prominent pineapple upfront and throughout. Lesser orange. Mineral quality mid-taste. Hint of tangerine in the finish.
Mouthfeel - On the fuller side of medium-bodied with fair, slightly tingly carbonation. Drinks easy enough at 8.4%, with a fairly dry finish.
Overall - Pretty good hazy double, but something about is rubbing me the wrong way. Maybe that slight mineral quality?
