Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in an oversized tulip, clear and copper in color with an off-white, half finger head sitting atop. Dies down in fair time to a thin, broken later of suds. Decent lacing with thick webbing, broken lines and small spotting.
Smell - Aroma hits with equal parts citrus, floral and dank hop character.
Taste - Really floral with lesser dank and a bit of candied citrus beneath. Soft, bready malts. Floral character finishes strong, and lingers well into the aftertaste. Cant help but think it finishes a bit soapy
Mouthfeel - Medium-to-full in body with fair carbonation. Drinks fair enough before a slightly dry finish.
Overall - Not as dank as I thought it'd be, and Im thankful for that. Still, not doing much for me, and its the floral notes I find too much, not the pine.
