Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in an oversized tulip, clear and brilliant copper in color with a thin, broken layer of suds. Fair lacing, with broken lines and spotting.
Smell - Malty aroma, with toasted bread, caramel and some light grain. Faint grass emerges as the brew warms.
Taste - Good amount of toasty malts with hints of cereal grain and caramel sweetness. Hops are minimal, adding just a hint of grassy flavor.
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with a fair, bitey carbonation Slick, easy drinker before a slightly crisp finish.
Overall - Solid Vienna lager. A bit more hoppiness would've been nice, but outside that, its what you'd expect.
