Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in an oversized tulip, hazy and mellowed orange with a thin, broken layer of suds. Decent lacing with some broken webbing and small spotting.
Smell - Getting notes of orange, grapefruit, pine and a bit of fresh leaf on the nose.
Taste - Follows the nose. Citrusy with lesser pine and a spice bite. Hints of leaf and mild pineapple. Finish lingers with a bit of grapefruit pith bitterness.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair carbonation. Drinks fair enough before a slightly chalky and dry finish.
Overall - Good Hazy, but a bit too 'West Coast' with the pine notes for me to love completely.
