From tasting notes 10/18/19
Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up on an oversized tulip, hazy and light orange in color with a thin, broken layer of suds covering the surface. Good lacing, with thick we bing lines and some spotting.
Smell - Peach, orange and some white grapefruit.
Taste - Follows the nose. Peachy sweetness upfront, along with hints of leaf and pine. Touch of guava in there somewhere. Orange sweetness kicks in mid-taste before turning slightly bitter with white grapefruit pith.
Mouthfeel - Medium in body with fair carbonation. Slick, easy drinker before a slightly dry finish.
Overall - Pretty good hazy. Interesting. Has a cool little progression it goes through. Maybe a bit more bitter on the finish than you'd like to see in a hazy, which is interesting as its only listed at 23 IBUs. Could need a few weeks to settle and develop further.
