Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Thickly hazed and mellow orange in color with a thin, broken layer of suds and a thick ring around the edge of the glass. Good amount of lacing, with broken sheeting, webbing, lines and some small spotting decorating most of the glass.
Smell - Citrusy and slightly tropical with lesser fresh pine aroma.
Taste - Follows the nose. Mellow, but juicy flavor. Hints of orange, peach and pineapple upfront and throughout. Touch of pine and spice come through mid-taste and follows into the finish, adding to a bit of orange pith in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with tingly carbonation. Slick, but with a touch of creamy texture as well. Finishes with a slight crisp and dry impression.
Overall - Pretty nice, mellow hazy double, and yet its sneakily hoppy. Hard to believe its only 14 IBUs!
