Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in an oversized tulip, crystal clear and brilliant golden orange in color with a thin, broken layer of suds across the surface.
Smell - Citrus with lesser dank and a hint of stonefruit.
Taste - Follows the nose. Bright, citrusy hops upfront before some stonefruit a hint of dank pine come through. Bready malt base stays mostly hidden. Aftertaste lingers with mild, citrus sweetness.
Mouthfeel - Medium in body with fair, tingly carbonation. Smooth, easy drinker before a crisp, dry finish.
Overall - Pretty good, classic West Coast IPA. Perhaps a go-to for the near future.
