Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a 13oz tulip, murky and dirty orange in color with a mostly barren surface and a razor thin ring of suds around the edge of the glass. No lacing, but none expected.
Smell - Passionfruit forward aroma, with lesser orange, salt and a hint of strawberry.
Taste - Follows the nose. Tart, fruity and salty, with passionfruit being the prominent flavor, while hints of strawberry and juicy orange round out the fruitiness. Fair salinity. Finish lingers with salt and fruitiness.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair, slightly tingly carbonation. Slick, easy drinker before a crisp, dry finish.
Overall - Nice gose. Certainly hits on the qualities you want in the style. A bit more strawberry might have been nice, though.
