Appearance - Pours with a light haze and bright orange in color. White, near finger width head that fizzes away in fair time, revealing a thin, broken layer of surface suds. Not much for lacing, save a broken line and a handful of small spots.
Smell - Aroma is mostly tart and citrusy, with lime and tangerine being most prevalent.
Taste - Tart and fruity, with the lime and tangerine standing out upfront and throughout. Pomegranate creeps in mid-taste, as does the passionfruit. Blood oranges add a touch of sweetness near the finish. Long aftertaste, which lingers with a tart, citrusy bite.
Mouthfeel - Light-bodied with fair carbonation. Sharp and crisp with a dry finish.
Overall - Hail to the Chief! My favorite of the four Hula Swirl releases. Tropical fruit punch. Mmmm.
