Appearance - Pours with a hint of haze, and reddish with a bright orange hue. Pinkish, half finger width head that fizzes away like soda, leaving a mostly barren surface. No lacing, but none expected.
Smell - Passionfruit, lime, lesser orange.
Taste - Follows the nose, and tart, as expected. Passionfruit really stands out upfront, along with lesser lime and orange. A touch of pomegranate mid-taste and into the finish. Finish is bright and continuously tart, leaving a strong bite well into the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Light in body with fair carbonation. Crisp, dry finish.
Overall - My 2nd favorite of the Hula Swirl releases. Nothing too crazy or unique, per say, just a really nice imperial sour.
