From a crowler filled 03/24/20
Appearance - Pours with a very light haze, even after giving the crowler the ol' roll down, golden yellow in color with a white, near finger width head. Sub-par retention results in a thin, broken layer of suds across the top and a fair ring around the edge of the glass. Fair lacing, with some broken webbing, lines and small spotting.
Smell - Fair stonefruit aroma, along with hints of guava, citrus and pine.
Taste - Follows the nose. Stonefruit is prominent upfront and throughout, then a touch of dank mid-taste. Malts are slightly grainy and bready. Finish brings an extra kick of fruitiness, with nectarine and a hint of bright citrus.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair carbonation. Smooth, slick drinker before a semi-dry finish.
Overall - Hmm. Good beer, not great. Drinks more West Coast than Hazy. Not one I'd readily order again, but a good drinker, nonetheless.
