Poured from a crowler filled 7/6/20
Appearance - Pours murky and chalky orange with an off-white, finger width head. Fair retention before giving way to a thin, broken layer of suds and a thin ring around the edge of the glass. Minimal lacing, with some broken lines and small spotting.
Smell - Orange juice and pineapple. Citrusy hops. Hint of berry.
Taste - Follows the nose. Super juicy orange, tangerine and pineapple, with hints of mango and a tangy berry kick. Finish gets a touch of grapefruit pith.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair carbonation. Soft, almost velvety texture before turning a drying finish.
Overall - Drinking better with a week+ of settling in the fridge vs a week ago having it on draft. Really juicy and just crushable now. I'm having trouble containing my desire to slam it before I get this review in, lol. Well done, Burning Barrel!
