We teamed up with Track 7 Brewing to produce this Halloween-centered, nostalgic cereal bowl of a beer. Divine, juicy blueberries lay the basis for silky vanilla beans, icing-like marshmallow sauce, and luscious lactose to create the perfect blend of fruit and cream featured in this imperial smoothie sour.

From tasting notes 10/30/20
Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA

Appearance - Served up 13oz into a snifter, opaque and violet in color. Thin, pink ring around the edge of the glass. A few spots make the lacing, as well as fine sediment from the fruit.

Smell - Mild blueberry and cream aroma.

Taste - Lightly tart and sweet blueberry upfront, then some fair vanilla. Finish adds a bit of milky character, and it hangs in the aftertaste.

Mouthfeel - Medium in body with low-to-fair carbonation. Smooth, creamy texture makes this an easy drinker with a refreshing finish.

Overall - Solid smoothie sour. Not as good as the Blueberry/Huckleberry Milkshake sour DIPA Claimstake recently dropped, but few fruited sours have been.

Sweet and tart blueberry and marshmallow-vanilla nose on this one! Taste follows with a blueberry tart, hint of vanilla finish. This is smooth and tasty but missing some berry sweetness upfront and a bigger vanilla kick on the backend IMO. Good!
