From tasting notes 11/23/20
Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a stemless tulip, opaque and red-violet in color with a mostly barren surface. Thin ring of suds around the edge of the glass. Lacing displays some broken lines and small spotting, as well as sediment from the berry.
Smell - Lots of sweet and tart berry notes. Hint of vanilla sitting beneath.
Taste - Follows the nose. A medley of berry flavor, spanning from tart to sweet, and even a touch of cherry character in there toward the finish. Vanilla is a bit lost in the shuffle. Faint toasted malt base? Finish continues on with that sweet and tart berry blend.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair carbonation. Slick, smooth drinker with an easy finish.
Overall - Solid addition to the Jammer series. Not my favorite, but I would definitely order it again.

Sweet and tart triple berry and prominent vanilla aromatics on this one! Taste follows somewhat...with tart berries upfront without sweetness and vanilla notes on the finish without creaminess. It's like it is missing something to be actually called a "smoothie sour." It is missing sweetness upfront and thick smoothie-ness on the backend IMO. Maybe needs lactose/milk sugar added? It has decent depth and feel to it, just not what I would expect for this type of fruited sour.
