Canned 12/16/20

Appearance- Pours opaque and mellow yellow in color, with a frothy, bubbling finger width head that settles in fair time, leaving a thick clumps of bubbles in the center of the surface and around the edge of the glass. Not really lacing so much as sediment left on the side of the glass.

Smell - Pineapple juice and banana, mostly. Slight cream and coconut.

Taste - Follows the nose. The pineapple is prominent and adds the pop upfront, then mellow banana eases it's sour, acidic bite, while hints of creamy sweetness rides beneath. What's there with distinguishable coconut character is fairly buried, but tends to come through better in the finish.

Mouthfeel - Full-bodied with low carbonation. Smooth, creamy body, leveled throughout before a hint of dryness in the finish.

Overall - This is tasty. Not my favorite sour from BB, and honestly where does the beer start and the fruited cocktail drink spiked with beer end? I don't know.

Sweet banana, juicy pineapple, and hint of coconut nose on this one! Taste follows with banana-pineapple upfront and then a dash of coconut on the finish. This is low-carb and soft and banana-coconut creamy on the palate. There are some strong piƱa colada vibes going on here and it is really tasty...but, like with most Burning Barrel sours, it is lacking the sweetness upfront to compliment the fruit used here. This is really good...it just needs more sweetness to be a true smoothie sour and hang with the big boys of the fruited sour game.
