Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a large tulip, hazy and mellow orange in color. Thin ring of suds hug the edge. Not much for lacing A few broken lines and small spotting.
Smell - Hoppy, fruity aroma. Citrus, pineapple and some underlying earth/dank character.
Taste - Follows the nose. Orange and pineapple upfront, then some grass, earth and slightly dank bitterness emerges. Pithy, grassy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with low to fair carbonation. Drinks easy enough before a slightly dry finish.
Overall - Really solid IPA. Decently balanced. One I'll gladly drink again, though wouldn't be terribly upset about if I missed a second release.
