Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a large tulip, murky and pale yellow-orange in color. Mostly barren surface with a razor thin ring of suds around the edge of the glass. A handful of small spots make up the lacing.
Smell - Juicy aroma. Orange, mango and a hint of grapefruit.
Taste - Not as juicy as the aroma leads on. Orange and white grapefruit, but also a prevalent earthen dank undertone. Not picking up the mango I found in the aroma. Finish is bitter with pithy citrus character.
Mouthfeel - Medium in body with fair carbonation. Smooth drinker before a bone dry finish.
Overall - It's a good beer, but it drinks more like a hopped up West Coaster than it does a hazy.
