Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served 13oz into a snifter, murky and berry red/violet in color. Barren surface with a razor thin, broken ring of suds found around the edge of the glass. No lacing.
Smell - Sweet and tart fruitiness, mostly cherry but with a hint of berry in there. Fair vanilla with a touch of cinnamon.
Taste - Follows the nose. Prominent cherry upfront and throughout, with fair amounts of vanilla and cinnamon riding beneath. Lesser berry character creeps in by mid-taste. Blueberry definitely flashes near the finish. Aftertaste lingers with cherry sweetness and cinnamon.
Mouthfeel - Light to medium in body with tingly carbonation. Smooth drinker before a mostly dry finish.
Overall - Another delicious pie inspired sour. Not my favorite of the series, but I'll gladly drink it again.
