Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a large tulip, crystal clear and brilliant orange in color with a thick, white ring clinging along the edges. Nice lacing that hangs in a sheet at the top, then cascading down into broken lines and small spots.
Smell - Citrusy aroma with lesser dank.
Taste - Initial flavor hits with notes of fresh, juicy orange and tangerine. Mid-taste adds some citrusy oil, light pith and a hint of dank. Bready malt undertone throughout. Pith and dank build and become a prominent fixture in the finish and aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Medium in body with fair carbonation. Slick, easy drinker upfront before a mostly dry finish.
Overall - Solid brew. Not quite in my wheelhouse of preference of flavors (too much dank), but its a quality made brew.
