From tasting notes 9/18/20
Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served in a 13oz snifter, opaque and pure orange in color with a virtually barren surface. No lacing, but none expected. 4
Smell - Strawberry and cream (almost buttery). Hints of grapefruit.
Taste - Follows the nose. Strawberry dominates much of the flavor profile, while a bit of cream is found alongside it. Mild grapefruit notes hit mid-taste and flows through to the finish, though the strawberry holds firm as the prominent flavor. Salinity is present, but not as noticeable as in your typical gose.
Mouthfeel - On the fuller side of nedium-bodied with fair carbonation. Drinks easy with a hint of creaminess before a semi-dry finish.
Overall - Interesting brew, and while tasty, with the high fruit content, creaminess and lower salinity level, it certainly isn't your typical gose.
