If breakfast is the most important meal of the day, this sour is the most essential brew in your fridge. Sweet strawberries provide the juicy berry basis that allows caramel, toffee, and hazelnut to shine and represent the classic breakfast cereal flavor profile. Take a sip of this crunch-a-tized breakfast bowl of a beer!

From tasting notes 10/2/20
Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a 13oz snifter hint of haze and has a bright, almost neon orange glow about it. No head or lacing to speak of.
Smell - The immediate thought that comes to mind is a giant bowl of the Cap'n with Crunch Berries, milk and all. More subtly, tartness can be found beneath.
Taste - Smell is spot on a bowl of Cap'n w/ Crunch berries. Taste is tart strawberry upfront and through mid-taste. Notes of milk, cap'n cereal emerge in the finish as tartness dwindles.
Mouthfeel - Light in body with fair carbonation. Smooth, easy drinker before a slightly crisp, mostly dry finish.
Overall - Concept absolutely nailed, but it's pretty rich; I'm not sure it's a beer I could drink much of. This 13oz is about the amount I'm good with in a day.
