Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a large tulip, murky and light orange in color. Mostly barren surface with a thin ring around the edge of the glass. Nice lacing, with broken webbing, lines and small spotting.
Smell - Strong peeled orange aroma, with hints of grapefruit and pine sitting beneath.
Taste - Follows the nose. Plenty of orange flavor upfront and throughout. Fair evergreen character emerges mid-taste, then a pithy finish.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair carbonation. Slick, smooth drinker, though it turns a bit dry in the finish.
Overall - Solid double hazy. Definitely exhibits WC character though, and might not be what haze heads desire from the style.
