Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a large tulip, semi-hazy and orange in color. Nice lacing, with broken webbing decorating much of the glass.
Smell - Orange and dank pine, mostly.
Taste - More fruity than the nose leads on. Orange, mango, berry and a touch of melon. A bit of dank mid-taste. Malts are light, but add a hint of caramel. Finish adds some citrus pith bitterness and spice.
Mouthfeel - Medium in body with low carbonation. Drinks smooth enough before a somewhat dry finish.
Overall - Solid WC DIPA. Good balance. Gets more dank as the brew warms, but not so much that I wouldn't drink this again.
