Appearance- Pours mostly opaque and dark berry red in color, with a pink, finger width head that fizzes away like sods, leaving a mostly barren surface and a thin, broken ring around the edges. No lacing.
Smell - Well, all that's advertised is right there on the nose. Lemon catches your attention first, then blueberry,
Taste - Oh, wow. The flavor is so on-point, and with great balance throughout. Initial wave of natural lemon flavor that holds firm before giving way to blueberry muffin, then a little bit of cake batter dives into the mix. Dash of glazed frosting to add that special note without becoming a point of cloying sweetness. Aftertaste lingers mostly with lemon, but the blueberry and cake notes aren't far off.
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with fair carbonation. Smooth drinker but a bit thin, especially on the back end.
Overall - Concept nailed, clean and through. If the body were just a tad thicker, this would rival some of my highest scored reviews. It's bordering on truly special.
