Appearance - Pours a dirty violet in color with a pink, half finger width head that settles quickly, leaving a thin broken layer of suds across the surface. Small lines and spotting make up the lace, while fine fruit sediment adds a bit of a smudged look across much of the rest of the exposed glass.
Smell - Tropical fruitiness, tangerine and pineapple sticking out the most, while banana comes in as, well, the third banana. Underlying berry sweetness.
Taste - Wow. Really nice, balanced blend of all the fruits used here. Tangerine and pineapple tang and zing met with a mellowing banana while the berry notes add some sweetening balance, while also adding a bit of their own unique tartness as well. Finish showcases pineapple and banana. The aftertaste rings with pineapple, mostly, though the other fruits are still dancing, not too far behind.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair carbonation. Lightly creamy, lightly silty texture from the ultra fine pulp. Drinks easy enough before a slightly dry finish.
Overall - Ingredients wise, it's close to their latest Double Jammer in utilizing berries, citrus, banana and pineapple, but to me the flavor profile presented here is much more cohesive. Perhaps using tangerines and blackberries instead of the raspberries and lemons, and the amount of each fruit used made all the difference. Regardless the case, I'm loving this one.
