Appearance - Pours hazy and orange in color with a white, near finger width head that fizzes away in fair fashion, giving way to a mostly barren surface with a thin ring of suds hanging around the edge of the glass. No lacing.
Smell - Limey aroma, backed by a touch of guava. Picking up faint traces of vanilla.
Taste - Tart lime really stands out upfront and throughout, with lesser guava, backed by a bit of mellowing vanilla sweetness that hits mid-taste and rides to the finish. Not much else going on here. Aftertaste is diminishing lime and vanilla.
Mouthfeel - Light-bodied with low-to-moderate carbonation. Slick, smooth, easy drinker.
Overall - Pretty good sour, but of the four Tiki releases this year, I'd rank this solidly in 4th. The touch of vanilla is nice, but at the end of the day, it's not as complex or interesting as the other 3 brews.
