Canned 04/21/21
Appearance - Pours opaque and light orange in color with a frothy, off-white two-finger width head that hangs for days before finally dying to a firm, consistent layer of suds across the surface. Nice lacing, with patches, webbing, broken lines and some spotting decorating the glass.
Smell - Juicy, tropical aroma. Guava, mango, pineapple, orange, melon and a lightly dank undertone.
Taste - Follows the nose. Upfront hits with a steady dose of guava, lesser mango and melon. Pineapple and ripe orange hits mid-taste, along with a trace of dank. Yeasty, bready and oat undertone. Finish lingers with mild citrus pith, yeast and fading guava and melon, and a touch of hop burn.
Mouthfeel - Near full in body with low-to-moderate carbonation. Soft, velvety texture upfront before a mostly dry aftertaste.
Overall - Tasty Double hazy. Needed a few weeks to mellow out the hop burn, but it is definitely drinking nice now.
