Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up 16oz into a clear, solo type plastic cup, hazy and light orange in color with a thin, broken layer of suds and a thick ring around the edge of the cup. Fair lacing, with webbing and small spotting.
Smell - Juicy citrus, with a bit of tropical goodness sitting just beneath.
Taste - Starts with juicy orange before some tangy tangerine brightness, and then a good dose of tropical mango pops in. Hints of white grapefruit and maybe a trace of dank as it approaches the finish. Aftertaste lingers with citrus acidity and a touch of pith.
Mouthfeel - Medium in body with fair, slightly bitey carbonation. Smooth drinker. Easy, somewhat dry finish.
Overall - Really nice DDH Imperial Hazy. Maybe a bit more mango than I'd like, but outside that, it's pretty damn delicious.
