Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a 16oz wide tulip, mostly clear and brilliant gold in color, a thin, broken film of suds covering the surface and a thin ring around the edge of the glass. Solid lacing decorates much of the glass in a small, intricate design of tiny lines and dots.
Smell - Prominent cereal grain sweetness, along with a bit of grass and underlying honey.
Taste - Follows the nose. Lots of cereal grain malt sweetness upfront and throughout, while a touch of grassy hop plays beneath. Light notes of honey creep in at the finish, adding a nice touch to this well balanced blonde.
Mouthfeel - Light in body with fair carbonation. Smooth, slick drinker before a crisp, lightly dry finish.
Overall - Damn solid blonde, with that bit of honey adding a nice touch to what is sometimes a bland style of brew.
