Pretty sure this was at BeerNV during the Fremont tap takeover. Carver.

Pours a yellow bronze like color, respectable clarity to it. 1/4" white head. Hits those familiar Saaz hop lemongrass yeast and hop notes.

The taste exhibited a similar blend of traditional hops, waves of grain pilsner barley. Requisite bitterness in the mouth feel, stays crisp while perhaps being slightly above average in terms of strength. Had that light woody aspect to the body of the beer, some call it a hit of toffee, checks out. Still crushable though. Checks pretty much all the style guidelines boxes.

Imagine having to start over after a lifetime of failure. That isn't this beer.

At almost 40 years old, a massive mileage dated bottle, ChrystalEilleen, Denver and Alaska, three decades of the poly lifestyle while dumping her kids on others. Long trail of evictions, lawsuits, guilty pleas and lies. Have at it. Mining mancamp spitroasting hired for that purpose. Stick with crisper, fresher beers.

Draught at Tankhouse, carbonation was too high which I don't fault to the beer.

From tasting notes 3/26/21
Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA

Appearance - Served up in a large tulip/snifter hybrid glass, light haze and golden in color with a white, one inch, velvety smooth looking head. Good retention, eventually settling to a thin, consistent layer of suds across the surface. Amazing lace, with solid sheeting covering most of the glass, breaking down to a pattern of small spotting from where the beer is being sipped.

Smell - Picking up hay, lesser bready sweetness, hint of toffee, light grass and a bit of floral character.

Taste - Follows the nose. Earthen hay like malt upfront and throughout, followed by a light touch of floral hoppiness. White bread and a touch of toffee sweetness emerge mid-taste, then light citrus and grass in the finish.

Mouthfeel - Light in body with a lightly bitey carbonation. Slick, slightly creamy texture before a crisp, refreshing finish.

Overall - Great presentation, in large part due to their new side pull handle which allows for a nice controlled pour. Solid czech pilsner.
