Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up a pint in a short stemed tulip /snifter. Clear and bright, brilliant orange in color. Thin ring of suds around the edge of the glass. Fair lacing with broken lines and a handful of spots making the lace.
Smell - Candied orange, caramel, lesser pineapple and a hint of mango.
Taste - Follows the nose. Citrusy, with orange /candied orange, hint of pineapple and a fair caramel malt backbone. Faint mango and a trace of dank coming through on the finish. Aftertaste lingers with tingling citrus.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair carbonation. Really slick on the texture before a semi-dry finish.
Overall - Great flavor, and with a very smooth, balanced profile. I ain't mad at this beer in the least.
