Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a stemless tulip, hazy and orange amber in color. Mostly barren surface with a thin ring around the edge of the glass Lacing is minimal, with a few small patches and spotting.
Smell - Strongly orange in aroma, freshly peeled, with faint notes of peach and a touch of mango.
Taste - Follows the nose. Orange character runs the gamut, from light juice to oil and peel bitterness. Lesser peach. Hints of mango emerge as the brew warms. Sweet caramel malt undertone. Finish is light with orange bitterness. Aftertaste lingers with orange and caramel flavors.
Mouthfeel - Full in body with moderate carbonation. Texture has a bit of syrupiness to it, though it drinks smooth enough. Mostly dry finish.
Overall - Solid unfiltered TIPA. Maybe a tad sweeter than I would like it to be, but outside that it's tasty.
