Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a stemless tulip, opaque and orange in color, with a chunky, yellowish film covering the surface. No lacing, instead lots of sediment from fruit and cream cover the glass.
Smell - Creamy aroma, with tropical undertones of pineapple and passionfruit.
Taste - Sharp pineapple juice hits the tongue first, followed by sweet vanilla creaminess that pairs well and cuts down on the pineapple zing. Passionfruit emerges as it rounds to the finish. Aftertaste lingers with fair tartness.
Mouthfeel - Full in body with low carbonation. Smooth, creamy texture. Drinks easy.
Overall - Tasty smoothie sour, but suffers a bit for tasting too much like Dole juice, IMO.
