Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a snifter, opaque and orange salmon in color, with a thin, broken layer of suds on the surface. No lacing, but bits of fruit sediment spot up the glass.
Smell - Creamy, vanilla aroma with tart lime. Hints of peach, beery and pineapple come through faintly.
Taste - Prominent lime tartness upfront and throughout, while lesser fruitiness of peach and pineapple ride beneath. Hints of mango and raspberry, especially as it rounds into the finish. Nice creamy, vanilla sweetness serves as the base. Aftertaste lingers with vanilla cream and lime. Very sorbet like.
Mouthfeel - Full in body with fair carbonation. Smooth, creamy texture. Goes down quite easy.
Overall - Pretty tasty, with that nice lime tartness playing the treble to the creamy vanilla's bass, while everything else plays the fill between. Maybe the best DJ release since Clown Drool?
