Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a Belgian tulip, opaque and solid orange in color, with a broken layer of suds on the surface. Not much for lacing; a few tiny spots here and there.
Smell - Citrusy, tropical aroma. Bright. Tangerine and pineapple, with a hint of grapefruit.
Taste - Follows the nose. Starts with fair tangerine and pineapple brightness, then notes of grapefruit and leafy green hoppiness. Subtle bready malt undertone. Finish brings a light pith bitterness that follows through in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Medium in body with a fair, carbonated bite. Slick, smooth drinker with a gentle, slightly dry finish.
Overall - Solid hazy IPA with fruit additions that don't overpower and detract from the overall hoppy impression. Will drink again.
