From tasting notes 2/3/23
Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a snifter, bright orange in color with a micro-thin, broken layer of suds across the surface, thickening up into a ring around the outer edge. Lacing is fair with some broken webbing, lines and small spotting.
Smell - Smells like a classic Capri Sun flavor. Cherry, pineapple, lesser peach wrapped in sugary sweetness.
Taste - Follows the nose. Very Capri Sun-like in flavor, with sugary, fruity notes, cherry being the prominent note and pineapple a close second. Lesser peach rounds out the fruit with an underlying softness. Finishes the way ot starts, with lingering sugary, fruity sweetness.
Mouthfeel - Medium in body with fair carbonation. Smooth drinker before a mostly dry finish.
Overall - Pretty rich with the sugary sweetness, but the fruits here play very well together. Despite finding it tasty, probably not one I'd go back to because it is more sugary than I prefer.
