Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a snifter, opaque and pink in color with some fruit sediment floating about. No lacing, but that sediment does dirty the sides of the glass a bit.
Smell - Apple, cinnamon and cranberry with a hint of cream and baked crust.
Taste - Follows the nose. Fair cranberry tartness and apple start, followed quickly by cinnamon spice and a touch of cream. Fair pie crust undertone. Balances out nicely in the finish and leaves a pleasing aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Light to medium in body with lightly tingly carbonation. Slick, smooth drinker before a crisp, semi-dry finish.
Overall - Really nice flavor in this brew that displays excellent balance. Easy drinker. Invokes the Holiday spirit. This one is an absolute winner in my book.
