From tasting notes 12/14/22
Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a snifter, opaque and a dull yellow orange in color. No suds. Thick with puree sediment, and it coats the glass thoroughly.
Smell - Banana with underlying vanilla. Faint cinnamon and spice.
Taste - Banana is prominent upfront and throughout. Cinnamon comes in quickly after, then a creamy vanilla. Light caramel in the finish with a touch of rum spice finding its place in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Full-bodied with low carbonation. Maybe the thickest beer I've tried due to the banana puree.
Overall - It's good, but not great. Aged in rum barrels.
