Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a snifter, hazy and dirty yellow with a thin, broken layer of suds across the surface, and a fair ring on the outer edge of the glass. A few lines, small blotches and dots make up the lacing.
Smell - Citrusy aroma, like fresh peeled orange, with a very faint mango note. Some vitamin chew mineral character.
Taste - Orange, orange peel, hint of mango and some subtle dank. Mineral -like character as it rounds into the finish. Mild hop burn, mineral and orange resonates in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Medium in body with fair carbonation. Slick texture before a bone dry finish.
Overall - Not particularly juicy, and the mild hop burn finish really hurts the final product. Far from the worst hazy I've had, but I will pass on trying it again.
